PODCAST: TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT THE HAZARDS OF CHEMICAL DEODORANTS

TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT THE HAZARDS OF CHEMICAL DEODORANTS

For most young people, the idea of leaving the house without a substantial shmear or spritz of their favorite deodorant/antiperspirant sounds absolutely crazy! Nobody wants to be a sweaty hot mess or a smelly hippy, but conventional deodorants aren’t the answer. They contain many harmful chemical ingredients that aren’t pit-friendly, no matter how pretty they make you smell!

In today’s newsletter, I’m attaching a link to a PODCAST that I recorded with my 15 year old nephew Logan. If you have tweens or teens in the house, you’ll want to check out this conversation! But, even if you don’t…. check it out anyway, because the information it features, applies to all of us!

The podcast is featured on Sound Cloud, on my Eco-Learning Legacies Channel: https://soundcloud.com/user-2491453/toxic-pit-spray-hazards

By the way, here are links to 3 non-toxic deodorants that I recommend:

For Girls: Island Deodorant: http://alexa.design/2o0A9Jc

For Boys: Fresh Kidzs: http://alexa.design/2o0xn6I

For Moms & Young Adult Women:  Piper Wai (As seen on Shark Tank): http://amzn.to/2ny4Qch

You can get my poster titled: ‘Do the Ingredients in Your Pit Stick or Spray STINK?’ on my website, along with many other great teaching posters! Individual sets of posters are here: http://www.ecointelligenteating.com/tabletop-tutors

My entire collection of 100 learning/teaching posters (featuring 18 topic categories) are here: http://www.ecointelligenteating.com/eco-mentoring (Become an Eco-Mentor and Scholar!)

Please hit reply if you like my podcast, and tell me if you’d like to hear more of these kinds of talks, featuring young people, as well as their parents and caregivers!
